Job Description

The Senior Digital Construction & Technology Coordinator reports to the Digital Construction & Technology Manager and is responsible for providing scheduling and logistic planning support throughout each phase of the project till the project is delivered. The Senior Digital Construction & Technology Coordinator needs to interact with site and project team members to maintain the flow of Information realistic in the schedule and logistic plans. We are looking for a construction enthusiastic individual, that has incredible scheduling and logistic planning skills, is passionate about sharing knowledge, and is interested in BIM/VDC technology. Our Digital Construction & Technology department is integrated providing endless possibilities combining both technologies.

The Senior Digital Construction & Technology Coordinator is responsible for modeling, 4D creation, clash coordination (2D and 3D) and logistic plans, mentor Digital Construction & Technology Coordinator, conduct consultant coordination meetings, communicate with site and project management teams for site support and deliverables. This role interacts with multiple levels of CCM team members; therefore, teamwork is vital to this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist, review, update, maintain and support pursuits & construction projects in the production of construction schedules using Primavera Cloud

  • Assist and support projects and pursuits in the creation of logistic planning (AutoCAD & Revit)

  • Assist and support projects and pursuits in the production of models along with the analysis, creation, and management of Building Information Models (BIM) and 2D drawings use these processes:

    • Data collection
    • Model/file management
    • Prepare and revise BIM models in Revit and 2D drawings in AutoCAD as required
    • Clash detection
    • 4D simulation using Fuzor
    • Renderings
    • Animations
    • Add in the coordination/creation of site support drawings as required
    • Documentation and plotting
  • Read and review documents, contracts, drawings, and specifications with the ability to create models from these

  • Lead and conduct clash coordination meetings

  • Train, direct and mentor Digital Construction & Technology Coordinators

Qualifications

Requirements

Education:

  • Graduate from a recognized post-secondary institution in Architectural Technologist, Drafting, Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Architecture or Engineering
  • 3-5 years professional experience – with minimum 2-3 years working for a General Contractor or Construction Management
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings

Knowledge and Skills

  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, Revizto, Navisworks, Open Space
  • Proficiency with scheduling software Primavera Cloud or Microsoft Project
  • Ability to support and guide the team
  • Experienced with clash coordination
  • Ability to set priorities and multi-task
  • Team player and has a positive work ethic
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
  • Proficiency with project logistics, sequencing, and the relationships between different tasks

Desired:

  • Experience with Fuzor, Revizto, Open Space and Primavera Cloud
  • High-rise construction experience
  • ICI construction experience

**Compensation:**The estimated salary range for this role is $75,000-$80,000 based on your experience and qualifications. Final compensation will be confirmed as part of a personalized offer.
