About the role

Job Description

The Sessional Instructional Assistant (SIA) will assist the course instructor in the delivery of the course KIN8125H1 - Clinical Assessment of Movement Capacity. The SIA will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in the preparation and delivery of course materials.
  • Leading tutorial sessions and providing support to students.
  • Grading assignments and providing feedback to students.
  • Holding office hours to assist students with course content.

Required Qualifications

  • A graduate degree in Kinesiology or a related field.
  • Previous teaching experience at the post-secondary level.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with clinical assessment techniques.
  • Familiarity with online teaching platforms.

Other Relevant Details

  • This position is part-time and will require approximately 10 hours per week.
