About the****Role
We are currently seeking an individual for the role ofLaboratory****Technicianat our production laboratory located in Kemptville. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication, time management and analytical skills.
What You Will Do:
- Use of accepted protocols to ensure that all processes required for routine semen production meet established quality and quantity guidelines
- Labeling, dilution, fill-sealing, racking, freezing, extender-supplies, maintenance, lab collection, equipment hygiene, lab cleanliness, and liquid nitrogen dispensing
- Lab data base management and maintenance of records and lab material inventories
- Participating inoccasional staff meetings
WhatYou Need toSucceed:
- College Diploma or equivalent education and experience
- Experience in a lab production facility preferred
- Understanding of lab production,quality control, production database maintenance and recording
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Physically fit with acute manual dexterity, and able to stand for long periods of time
- Able to tolerate work in the cold room environment with temperatures ranging from 3°- 25° C
- Knowledge of the agriculture industry is an asset

Work Location & MinimumPayRate
This is an in-person role requiring 5 days per week in our Kemptville location. This position offers a minimum starting salary of $23.00/hour, with potential compensation enhancements based on applicable experience and qualifications.
