As a Baler Operator, you will play a key role in keeping our production areas clean and organized by ensuring that machine waste is collected and disposed of properly. You will help maintain efficiency while meeting safety and quality standards. This position is currently scheduled for the night shift

More about your responsibilities:

  • Collect waste materials from all departments.
  • Operate an electric cart to transport waste buckets to the Baler Room.
  • Sort and separate different types of stock for processing.
  • Secure bales using bailing wire.
  • Transport completed bales to the designated trailer.
  • Diagnose mechanical issues.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines and ensure housekeeping standards are met.
  • Carry out other related duties or tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

What you’ll bring

  • High School Diploma
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, recycling, or warehouse operations is an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Ability to stand for extended periods.
    • Lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
    • Work in varying temperatures and conditions in a manufacturing environment.
