We’re looking forOperations Summer Team Membersto join our veneer plant inLumby British Columbia. OurWhite Valley Divisionproduces the veneer used at our Armstrong Plywood facility. White Valley safely and sustainably produces 225,000 million square feet of veneer every year for customers around the world so they can build their homes and their communities.

Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

  • Availability forseasonal or temporary employmentto support operational needs.

  • You findhard work satisfyingandsafety non-negotiable.

  • You are a greatcommunicatorwho can work independently while still contributing to the team's overall performance**.**

  • Previous experience in a forest products, manufacturing, or industrial environment is an asset butnot required- training will be provided for the right candidate.

-Work independentlyas part of ahigh-performance teamdedicated to safely and efficiently producing lumber.

  • Learn from the best and earnvaluable experience. -Perform a variety of labour dutiestoincrease productivityandreduce safety risks.

  • Utilize your strongproblem-solvingskills toanalyze and trouble shootin your area, andcommunicatewith your team lead to get thingsback on track.

  • Work avariety of shifts, including evenings and weekends, giving you the opportunity tosee all sides of the business.
