About the Role: We’re looking for a skilled Developer to join our team and play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend systems and robust APIs. This position emphasizes server-side development, system architecture, and data handling, with less focus on front-end work. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs Build scalable, high-performance systems that power our applications Create and manage RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues and system bottlenecks Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical decisions Requirements Strong experience with backend development (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, C#, or similar) Solid understanding of API design principles and best practices Experience working with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL) Familiarity with authentication, authorization, and security best practices Experience with cloud platforms (Azure) is a plus Understanding of system design, scalability, and performance tuning Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment Nice to Have Experience with microservices architecture Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applications from qualified candidates across the United States and Canada.
