Position Overview

We are seeking a breakfast cook to join our dynamic team. As a breakfast cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious breakfast dishes to perfection, ensuring consistent quality and taste.

Shifts: Full-time permanent 6:00AM-4:00PM (4 days)

Wage: $19-$22 per hour

Key Responsibilities

  • Early morning start of 4am
  • Assembling café items including pastries, sandwiches and other items as required
  • Assisting on line with breakfast service.
  • Follow recipes and prep lists in order to maintain standards of quality in production and presentation.
  • Maintain a good working relationship with other employees, providing instruction and encouragement as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, neat and organized work area in accordance with AHS foodsafe regulations.

Skills and Experience

  • Experience/Ability to do the following:
  • Forward bend, squat, forward reach to retrieve items from cabinets
  • Repetitive forward bend of head/neck
  • Lifting through height of 6" to 5'(squatting or forward bend) from dolly to refrigerator shelves
  • Carrying boxes/bags of food a distance of 10 feet
  • Shoulder motions below 90 degrees shoulder flexion
  • Gross grasp to hold tongs, spoons
  • Repetitive elbow motion in mid-range for chopping
  • Repetitive wrist motions through partial range for stirring and chopping
  • Lift boxes of 50 lbs.
  • Lift pots of food: 25-50 lbs.
  • Stir food: 5-10 lbs. of force may be needed to stir thicker consistency foods such as mashed potatoes.

Requirements

  • Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
