As a Drywaller (Internally known as Drywaller II), you'll bring your growing craftsmanship and attention to detail to every project. You'll install, finish, and texture drywall, frame walls and ceilings, and help transform restoration and rebuild projects into spaces clients can be proud of.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A DRYWALLER As a Drywaller, you're the go-to for getting things done right. You'll read blueprints, measure and cut materials, install drywall, and perfect every seam and surface for a flawless finish. You'll mix texture, install ceiling grid systems, and assemble framing that keeps structures solid and true. You'll collaborate with your crew to keep projects on schedule, troubleshoot challenges, and make sure every job site runs safely and smoothly. Each day brings new challenges and opportunities to showcase your skills, learn advanced techniques, and see the immediate impact of your work.
Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years of construction or restoration experience
- Proficient in drywall installation, finishing, and texturing
- Comfortable reading blueprints and performing material take-offs
- Skilled with hand tools, power tools, and mobile applications
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with a focus on quality results
- Reliable, organized, and safety-conscious
- Valid full class driver's license and clear driver's abstract
- Fit test and other safety certifications
- Must be able to work overtime, on weekends and participate in rotating on-call schedule
- Ability to complete work activities that may involve material handling, lifting, climbing, and the use of personal protective equipment including respirators, safety footwear, and other required gear
