Your Mission:
You lead our HELLAMAID corporate locations operations and are fully responsible and accountable for achieving revenue, cost and margin targets, hiring and managing staff schedules, leading employee reviews, managing budgets and projections, overseeing and driving our highly visible conversion metrics, motivating our staff to deliver HELLAMAID’s exceptional ‘100% happiness’ home cleaning experience.
A day in the life of our General Manager will start with focusing on the latest sales and conversion metrics, ensuring the team is energized and excited to meet and exceed the daily, weekly and monthly lead to client conversion targets. The next main priority is to ensure all employees and cleaners are living and breathing our HELLAMAID ‘100% happiness’ best practices at every location. If any employee needs help or retraining, you are quick to solve the problem and organize a solution. We love our clients and the HELLAMAID care and attention must radiate from each employee and cleaner and every location every day. You will also coordinate our call centre’s schedules to ensure coverage.
At the same time, you will be expected to strengthen and refine our operational systems, ensuring scalability as we expand across multiple locations. Your role includes ensuring sales processes, scheduling practices, and customer support standards remain consistent and efficient as Hellamaid grows.
Balancing all of this, the General Manager role will focus on connecting with cleaning teams, supporting their success, and making sure they feel empowered to love what they do. By helping our teams thrive, we ensure clients continue receiving an exceptional Hellamaid experience.

Success In This Role:
You may have experience running a fast paced high transaction volume operations team while also ensuring remote, geographically diverse cleaning teams are living our brand promise. Sales, conversions and helping all employees perform at their best is at the core of your work.
The number one priority is efficient and well managed running of our call center and ALL corporate locations. A key metric you are responsible for is inbound call conversions to clients, growing our conversion rate from 21% to greater than 50%. You need to understand all the KPIs that impact this conversion rate and have an ownership mentality every day and every moment. Furthermore, you have to understand and make changes to operations to account for the growing conversion rates. You have to be able to see around the corner and know what bottleneck needs to be solved next as our business thrives and grows! Coaching, mentoring and inspiring teams to be accountable and evolve is an important part of our culture and you must embody this from day one!
Because Hellamaid is rapidly scaling, you will also help build repeatable systems and processes that support multi-location growth and prepare the company for franchising.
To be successful in this role, you need to be passionate about working for a brand that prioritizes our cleaners, who are more than professional cleaners. They are real people. You are a natural leader, taking ownership when it comes to homeowner happiness, ensuring any unhappiness is solved quickly and professionally in a timely manner. You are experienced and comfortable with reviewing reports and reporting insights and solutions (not problems!) to the business owners.

- Natural leadership and people skills, motivating others based on empathy and a mentorship mentality;
- Be world class at building relationships with clients and employees and passionate about delivering a world class customer experience;
- Experience hiring high performing employees and managing them to perform at their best;
- Proven experience improving systems and processes for scalable growth, ideally in a multi-location service or franchise brand;
- Follows proven systems but also knows how to continuously improve adherence to standards and elevate processes;
- Confident with financial management;
- Incredible at prioritization;
- Can have difficult conversations yet still maintain a powerful, connected, caring relationship;
- Drives results while building great relationships.
Details & Compensation:
- Full time, permanent, on site;
- Frequent travel while ensuring the head office operations is running smoothly is a must
- Working some weekends (remotely) might be required;
- Annual salary: $90,000 starting range and negotiable depending on experience;
- Comprehensive benefits plan including health, dental, and vision coverage;
