About the role
As a Wealth Management Associate, you will support an investment advisor or a team of advisors by providing professional, efficient customer service and sound administrative management of client accounts, in compliance with the firm’s policies and procedures as well as regulatory standards in the securities industry. You will process client requests for information and assume various operational support duties specific to the advisor’s or team’s activities, including completing transactions on behalf of clients as instructed by the investment advisor or team. More specifically, you will be required to :
- Support the wealth management team with all their administrative, customer service and business development activities.
- Respond to information requests from clients regarding their accounts and the firm’s products and services. Conduct research and follow up as needed to deliver quality service.
- Complete, check and forward account opening forms.
- Monitor day-to-day activities in client accounts and handle various administrative details to help advisors free up their time.
- Check data from various information sources to ensure compliance, in accordance with policies and standards (such as transaction corrections, cheque requisitions and deposits, transfer follow-ups, mail received and sent, swaps and RRSP contributions).
- Carry out purchases and sales for clients as instructed by the advisor.
- Process data, including producing various documents for clients, while ensuring the quality of the writing and presentation of documents.

What you bring to the table
- College diploma in a related field
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience
- Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Successful completion of the Canadian Securities Course and the Conduct and Practices Handbook Course, or commitment to complete them within 12 months of hiring
- Strong communication skills in both French and English, both oral and written due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with english-speaking partners, members and/or clients
- Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint and Excel in a Windows environment
