Information Technology Coordinator
About the role
The IT Coordinator will be responsible for supporting and advancing technology infrastructure across multiple locations. This role combines hands-on technical support with networking administration and cybersecurity responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform day-to-day IT operations, including operating servers, laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and business applications Administer and support Microsoft 365 (Azure), ADP systems, backups, cloud environments, Intune/MDM, device enrollment, patching, and system updates Configure, install, and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and access points. Troubleshoot connectivity issues across offices and remote users Coordinate hardware lifecycle, including provisioning, upgrades, and replacements Maintain IT security policies, controls, and best practices Assess vulnerabilities and strengthen security posture Monitor cybersecurity risks and ensure compliance with company standards Coordinate and resolve tickets using a ticketing system Track and monitor KPIs, including ticket resolution timelines, ticket volume, service efficiency, system uptime and security improvements Lead IT onboarding and offboarding processes, including maintenance of user accounts. Support ERP implementation, system integrations, and data workflows Contribute to IT strategy, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives Maintain IT documentation, asset tracking, and system standards
Skills and Qualifications:
College diploma or University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field Minimum 2 years of IT experience working as a Network Administrator, IT Support Specialist, or similar role. Proven experience with networking (routers, switches, access points, firewalls), Hardware troubleshooting and deployment, Microsoft Azure, Cybersecurity principles and best practices, ERP implementation, and IT service management. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and relationship-building skills Strong attention to detail, self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Work Conditions: Type: Full-time, Permanent, In-person Location: Ancaster, ON (100% On-Site) Travel: Required to Vaughan (occasionally), Caledonia (frequently) Salary Range: $65,000 – $80,000
