Company Introduction: T&T Supermarket Inc. was founded in 1993 with two stores in BC. Since then, it has expanded rapidly and is now Canada’s largest Asian supermarket chain with 37 stores across the country: 14 in BC, 7 in Alberta, 14 in Ontario, and 2 in Quebec. The Company’s continuous expansion is going to bring more new stores in the next couple of years.
The Role: Reporting to the IT Manager – Business Service, the Information Security Administrator is responsible for safeguarding computer systems, networks, and sensitive data while championing a culture of security awareness. Moreover, for implementing robust security controls and adhering to established policies, to ensure secured of our information assets.

Major Responsibilities: Implement, configure, and maintain comprehensive information security measures and technical controls across the enterprise.

Proactively monitor, detect, and resolve security threats. Lead investigations into security events and alerts, executing rapid response protocols to mitigate breaches.

Conduct thorough security risk assessments for new systems prior to deployment and perform recurring audits on production environments to ensure continued compliance.

Administer and optimize advanced security toolsets, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, and DLP.

Remediate and patching of system vulnerabilities to minimize the corporate attack surface.

Stay abreast of evolving security standards, newly published vulnerabilities, and modern remediation techniques to ensure the organization remains resilient.

Perform any other duties assigned by the superior(s)

Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements: Minimum of 2+ years of dedicated experience in information security or a closely related technical field.

Advanced administrative knowledge of MS Windows and Linux environments

Working experience with security management tools (e.g., SIEM, IPS/IDS, DLP) is highly preferred.

Possession of an active security certification (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, or GSEC) is considered an asset.

Exceptional analytic and fault-finding skills.

Strong interpersonal skills with a service-oriented mindset.

Able to provide Out-of-office support when required.

Fluency in written and spoken English.

Able to communicate in Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese) is an asset.
