About the role
Reporting to the Production Manager, the Production Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of employees engaged in various areas of the manufacturing process. You will:
- Ensure your team is motivated, capable, well trained and efficient to ensure targets and high standards are achieved
- .Maintain accurate record keeping related to Staff, monitoring of health and safety through PPE checks, hazard awareness and monitoring best practice
- .Monitor quality and efficiency standards, rectifying issues where possible and notifying Line Manager of any issues that need escalating
- .Monitor stock levels, material supply and material utilization using SAP system, if required
- .Inspecting all areas of work on a daily basis identifying any areas requiring specific attention and act accordingly
- .Lead the team by example, making sure all the team follows correct PPE and food safety standards at all times

- ce.Experience in a unionized and/or food manufacturing environment would be considered an ass
- et.Experience supervising a team of up to 40 employe
- es.Experience working with SAP or similar syst
- emsStrong knowledge on KPI’s, Health and Safety, Food Safety, Quality, HACCP, Waste Rate and Run Rat
- es.Sound knowledge in OH&S syste
- ms.Excellent leadership, change management, organization and problem solving skil
- ls.Ability to work rotating shifts- typically 2 weeks days and 2 weeks afterno
- onsStrong written verbal skills to communicate with all levels of the organization and the leadership te
