About This Opportunity

The Director, Sales – Large Store is responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans and providing leadership to a team of Account Executives for the Large Store Channel. This role plays a pivotal part in shaping customer strategies, driving sustainable growth, and maximizing value across our national retail partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement a long-term strategic vision for each customer to achieve maximum volume, profit, and value-added growth.
  • Build both short- and long-term plans to fully realize the potential of partnerships within the Coca-Cola Canada System by deeply understanding each customer’s business needs, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to develop and execute comprehensive customer plans tailored to market conditions and competitive landscapes.
  • Collaborate with senior-level buyers to strengthen relationships and create mutual strategic plans that drive business growth.
  • Provide thought leadership in identifying incremental volume and growth opportunities, guiding associated plans within the team.
  • Leverage customer and consumer insights, along with category planning resources, to develop impactful local market strategies.
  • Influence management and operational partners to ensure alignment and that actionable plans are developed and executed collaboratively.
  • Champion ongoing improvement by identifying and resolving opportunities that support long-term sustainable and profitable growth.
  • Provide strong leadership and direction to the team while building and developing a robust talent pipeline.
  • Allocate resources strategically to maximize returns across the country.

Qualifications

  • A proven track record of 8+ years in sales with measurable success in driving growth and profitability.
  • Over 5 years of experience inspiring and leading high-performing sales teams to exceed ambitious targets.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated success in managing relationships with senior executives.
  • Proven expertise in developing strategic visions, mobilizing resources, and executing plans effectively.
  • Strong project management skills, capable of taking initiatives from concept to completion.
  • Performance-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong influencing and persuasion abilities.
  • Solid operational, commercial, and financial management skills to effectively prioritize and allocate resources.
  • Recognized as an engaging, inspiring leader and role model with a consistent record of developing and empowering high-performing teams. #LI-AM1
