The ideal candidate will transform raw footage into compelling stories that showcase craftsmanship, innovation, and customer satisfaction, supporting both organic growth and marketing campaigns.
Deliverables
- Edit and produce high-quality Instagram Reels featuring before-and-after transformations, project progress, and team insights.
- Collaborate on content planning to ensure alignment with brand messaging and marketing objectives.
- Incorporate captions, graphics, and music to enhance viewer engagement and accessibility.
- Optimize videos for Instagram’s format and best practices, ensuring consistency in style and tone.
- Deliver final videos within agreed timelines, ready for immediate publishing.
Requirements
- Proven experience editing short-form video content for social media, especially Instagram Reels.
- Proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Strong sense of visual storytelling, pacing, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work with a variety of footage, including on-site progress, finished projects, and face-to-camera clips.
- Familiarity with social media trends, especially within the home renovation or lifestyle sectors.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to take feedback constructively.
- Availability for a single project with potential for ongoing collaboration.
- Based in Canada preferred, but remote candidates with relevant experience will be considered.
