Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Act as an advisor to managers to support them in achieving expected results;
  • Manage the staffing process: advise and assist managers in planning, recruitment, selection, hiring, transfers, and probation periods;
  • Assist managers in preparing various selection tools (quality statements, interview grids, pre-selection tests) and participate in recruitment when required;
  • Write and post job advertisements on relevant networks and social media;
  • Ensure a welcoming and effective onboarding process for new employees, based on industry best practices;
  • Advise managers on disciplinary actions, ensuring compliance with internal policies and legal frameworks;
  • Collaborate with managers to analyze training needs for skill maintenance, development, and health and safety training (e.g., WHMIS, MAPAQ, CPO, forklift, etc.);
  • Assist in implementing and coordinating wellness and employee recognition programs;
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and lead committees as needed;
  • Collaborate with the corporate team on payroll processing;
  • Advise managers on workplace health and safety regulations and disability management related to workplace injuries or personal conditions;
  • Represent the company at various events and/or job fairs;
  • Participate in employer brand development. Design and deploy HR marketing strategies in collaboration with our Regional Sales and Marketing Manager;
  • Perform administrative tasks in support of HR processes and activities;
  • Support managers during the annual performance review period.

Profile:

  • University degree in a field related to human resources management, such as business administration or industrial relations;
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an HR Generalist;
  • Ability to manage a high volume of tasks and projects under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment;
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is essential;
  • CHRP designation is a significant asset;
  • Excellent proficiency in MS Office Suite;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Demonstrated autonomy, initiative, and attention to detail;
  • Positive and flexible attitude;
  • Strong work ethic, discretion, and professionalism;
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality.

Work Schedule:

  • Full-time, Monday to Friday, on site.
  • 40 hours per week.

Salary:

  • Salary is based on the pay scale and employee benefits in effect at Nordik Spa Village.
