Roles and Responsibilities:
- Act as an advisor to managers to support them in achieving expected results;
- Manage the staffing process: advise and assist managers in planning, recruitment, selection, hiring, transfers, and probation periods;
- Assist managers in preparing various selection tools (quality statements, interview grids, pre-selection tests) and participate in recruitment when required;
- Write and post job advertisements on relevant networks and social media;
- Ensure a welcoming and effective onboarding process for new employees, based on industry best practices;
- Advise managers on disciplinary actions, ensuring compliance with internal policies and legal frameworks;
- Collaborate with managers to analyze training needs for skill maintenance, development, and health and safety training (e.g., WHMIS, MAPAQ, CPO, forklift, etc.);
- Assist in implementing and coordinating wellness and employee recognition programs;
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and lead committees as needed;
- Collaborate with the corporate team on payroll processing;
- Advise managers on workplace health and safety regulations and disability management related to workplace injuries or personal conditions;
- Represent the company at various events and/or job fairs;
- Participate in employer brand development. Design and deploy HR marketing strategies in collaboration with our Regional Sales and Marketing Manager;
- Perform administrative tasks in support of HR processes and activities;
- Support managers during the annual performance review period.
Profile:
- University degree in a field related to human resources management, such as business administration or industrial relations;
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an HR Generalist;
- Ability to manage a high volume of tasks and projects under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment;
- Bilingualism (French and English) is essential;
- CHRP designation is a significant asset;
- Excellent proficiency in MS Office Suite;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Demonstrated autonomy, initiative, and attention to detail;
- Positive and flexible attitude;
- Strong work ethic, discretion, and professionalism;
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality.
Work Schedule:
- Full-time, Monday to Friday, on site.
- 40 hours per week.

- Salary is based on the pay scale and employee benefits in effect at Nordik Spa Village.
