About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Technical Project Manager to join our growing team in Ontario. This role is ideal for a tech-savvy professional with a robust background in managing software development and infrastructure projects, particularly within .NET and Azure ecosystems.
As a key liaison between technical teams, stakeholders, and business units, you’ll lead the end-to-end delivery of high-impact projects while ensuring alignment with both engineering and product goals. Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps pipelines, environments, and work item tracking is a strong asset and critical for success in this role.
This is a hybrid position, requiring onsite presence once a week at our Ontario office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership:
Drive full-lifecycle delivery of technical projects, with a focus on Azure-hosted services and .NET-based applications.
- Azure DevOps Integration:
Utilize Azure DevOps for sprint planning, pipeline oversight, release management, and CI/CD governance.
- Product Alignment:
Collaborate closely with Product Owners to ensure user stories and acceptance criteria align with business value, especially in product-centric environments.
- Team Management:
Coordinate efforts across development, QA, DevOps, and UX teams to ensure smooth execution and high-quality outcomes.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
Serve as a strategic bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment.
- Project Planning:
Define project scope, deliverables, timelines, and budgets in partnership with executive leadership.
- Risk & Change Management:
Proactively identify risks, issues, and change impacts with actionable mitigation strategies.
- Progress Reporting:
Maintain detailed project plans, status reports, and KPI tracking with regular updates to senior leadership.
- Methodology Adherence:
Champion Agile/Scrum best practices while adapting to hybrid project methodologies as needed.
- Technical Oversight:
Support the translation of architectural and technical designs into tangible project outcomes.
Qualifications:

5+ years of project management experience in technical and/or product-led software development environments.

Proven success in managing projects leveraging .NET frameworks and Azure cloud infrastructure.

Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps tools, including Boards, Pipelines, and Repos.

Strong grasp of Agile/Scrum, SDLC, and product development lifecycles.

Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Technical background (software development, cloud infrastructure, or systems integration) is highly preferred.

Relevant certifications such as PMP, CSM, or Azure Fundamentals are considered an asset.

Must be based in Ontario, Canada, and available for weekly in-office collaboration.
