Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated InspectorMonday-Friday 8.00am to 4.30 pmto join our Non-Ferrous Department. This position requires strong attention to detail, knowledge of ferrous/non ferrous metals, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

What you’re responsible for:

  • You have previous experience in a similar role within the metal recycling industry, specifically in materials inspection, is highly desirable

  • You have knowledge of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, their properties, and common contaminants or impurities

  • You have familiarity with relevant tools and equipment used for measurement and inspection, such as scales, callipers, magnet testers, etc.

  • You have the ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting and moving heavy objects

  • You have proficient in using computer systems and software for data entry and record keeping

  • You are comfortable working in a heavy industrial environment and being exposed to various weather conditions

Qualifications
