About The Team The Enterprise Architecture and Technology Governance team ensures that an appropriate governance and control environment is in place by maintaining PSP Investments’ corporate procedures and reviewing internal controls. The Enterprise Architecture and Technology Governance team is also responsible of defining access and information retention procedures and processes, analyzing the permission models, implementing/executing relevant IT Compliance controls and overseeing / reporting on technology projects and initiatives.

About Your Role As an Intern, Enterprise Architecture and Technology Governance , you’ll:

  • Assist the team in reviewing and documenting business processes, guidelines, internal committees and procedures (i.e. assist the team in establishing, updating and integrating procedures into the PSP governance platform etc.)
  • Assist in maintaining access management models for business tools and solutions
  • Support in responding to various internal and external audit requests
  • Participate in the update and review process of key controls of PSP Investments (i.e. update of the Governance platform database, preparation of support material, etc.)
  • Assist in collecting and assessing audit certifications from third party vendors
  • Assist in implementing, documenting, and executing IT compliance control activities and access controls
  • Support the team in various ad hoc requests and projects (e.g. effectuer diverses analyses et présentations, créer de la documentation pour mettre en évidence éléments clés, examiner les processus clés pour optimiser les activités, soutenir les autres membres de l'équipe d'architecture d'entreprise et de gouvernance technologique, etc.)

What You’ll Need

  • Currently enrolled in Business Administration Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, and/or a specializing in Information Technology or equivalent programs
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Office programs such as Excel and PowerPoint
  • Effective communications skills, both written and spoken (French and English)
  • Demonstrated initiative and curiosity to look beyond surface facts and conduct comprehensive, fact-based, value-added research
  • Attention to detail and rigorous approach to research, analysis and documentation
  • Ability to work collaboratively, cultivating meaningful relationships with colleagues and clients
  • Eagerness to learn, ideate and innovate
  • Bilingualism: English and French (frequent interactions in English with PSP employees based in our offices in Hong Kong, London and New York, and interactions in French with employees in our local offices in Montreal and Ottawa)
  • Must return to studies after the internship or the internship must be part of your curriculum
  • Candidates must have the right to work in Canada* for the period specified to be considered for this position.  No support to obtain the right to work will be provided.
