We are hiring a Warehouse Dock Coordinator who is responsible for the coordination of the warehouse loading docks for all daily inbound/outbound shipments, completing all daily admin paperwork for shipments and assisting with warehouse order processing management. This person will work 8-430 Monday through Friday.
This teammate will be responsible for -
- Point of contact for all incoming/outgoing carriers
- Coordinate dock operations by assigning carriers to appropriate dock doors for loading and unloading
- Communicate with warehouse staff on dock door priorities – inbound/outbound shipments.
- Complete all necessary paperwork for incoming and outgoing orders including ship confirmations, BOL’s, carrier manifests, and daily logbook.
- Assist warehouse staff with order release management and prepare pick sheets for order processing.
- Ensure daily schedule of incoming/outgoing loads is completed and any discrepancies/issues are addressed
- Completes all paperwork and administrative tasks in a timely and accurate manner.
- Follows all Standard Operating Procedures and adheres to all safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure all carriers are following safety protocols for loading/unloading.
- Manages positive and constructive communication with internal/external stakeholders and carrier operators
- Load/unload trailers and order pick when additional warehouse support is needed.
- Elevate all major discrepancies, errors or safety concerns in a timely manner
- Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.

Working Environment
- Warehouse setting with mobile equipment, racking, inventory
- Substantial attention to detail while handling and processing paperwork
- Ability to work in a time sensitive, fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and concrete daily deliverables
- Strong physical demands - ability to lift in excess of 22 kg on a regular basis, prolonged sitting, standing and walking within a warehouse environment.
- Standard days of work that require some flexibility based on scheduling
This teammate will bring -
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
- Experience in warehouse, logistics, or dock operations
- Experience with inventory management an asset
- Strong computer skills an asset
- Working knowledge of Inventory systems, Oracle ERP is an asset
- Forklift and ride-on pallet jack certification is an asset
- Capability to stand, walk and perform physical tasks, including heavy lifting
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Time Management and organizational skills
