About the position
Duties
The GL-MAN-08 will oversee the care and management of up to 96 horses, ensuring their health, safetyand overall well-being. The role involves a combination of daily horse care tasks and maintenance of thestables and equipment. This will include the upkeep of the stables, cleaning stalls, handling horses,grooming, observing horses for signs of illness, care and maintenance of the riding school, ménage,paddocks and hot walker equipment.
Intent of the process
The intent of the process is to fill temporary positions on a casual basis (up to 90 days). You will be contacted should the manager wish to consider you further.

Conditions of employment
Reliability Status security clearance - Must be at least 18 years of age
Willing and able to work shift work, involving arotation of day and night shifts
Willing and able to work a flexible schedule, be on standby, or adjust schedule with little or no notice to meet operational requirements
Willing and able to work overtime
Willing and able to work on weekends and statutory holidays
Willing and able to lift, carry and/or push heavy or awkward items, weighing up to twenty-five (25)kilograms
Willing and able to adapt to new and unfamiliar work environments both indoors and outdoors, where there is contact with dust, dirt, odours, noise, smooth surfaces, dampness, crowds, or extremes of hot and cold temperatures.

Experience in equine husbandry.
Experience in the operation of farm and related stable equipment and machinery.
Experience in the basic health and physical care of horses of all ages while demonstrating safe handling techniques.
