We are currently seeking a high performing Senior Finance Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis, to join the Customer Experience Finance team. This role will report into the Senior Finance Manager, Planning & Analysis.

The Senior Finance Analyst plays a pivotal role in managing the coordination of all month-end, budgeting, forecasting, and planning requirements for the Customer Experience Finance team, and will be a key connection point between Corporate Planning and the operational Finance teams.

This role will support the Senior Finance Manager and Sr. Director CEX Finance in articulating the finance and business story behind Customer Experience Results.

What you'll be doing:

  • Produce month-end, forecast, budget reporting package from a consolidated point of view for Customer Experience, working with Finance peers to formulate variance commentary and articulate finance/business story
  • Work closely with Corporate Planning and communicate month-end, forecast, budget requirements to Customer Experience Finance team, ensuring process is clearly identified
  • Support and present Month End, Forecast, and Budget reviews by consolidating and articulating business results/insights and key KPIs
  • Assist in the modelling of CEX Long Range Plan, help lead the process with business/finance primes to set meaningful and reasonable financial target/outcome for the CEX BU
  • Provide support to strategic initiatives/projects including decision support on business cases for CEX key areas of business: Customer Care, Billing & Payment, Credit Operations and CEX Digital
  • Ad hoc financial analysis, as required

What you'll bring:

  • Individual should be a team player with proven organizational and communication skills
  • Experience in developing, preparing and presenting management reports
  • Strong problem-solving, operational and financial analysis skills with consistent attention to detail
  • The environment is dynamic and demanding. The individual must have a good work ethic and should be able to work well under pressure and under tight deadlines as required.
  • Advance Excel, Word and PowerPoint required
  • Experience working with Oracle, Essbase financial systems an asset
  • University Degree and accounting/finance designation preferred (CPA/CMA/CGA/CA/CFA)
  • Experience in credit risk, collection call centre support or management an asset
