Overview Location: Moose Jaw Ford Automotive Technician – Experienced/Journeyman Up to $30-45/hour depending on experience Paid relocation expenses if moving to Moose Jaw or we'll pay your gas to commute! **** **Moose Jaw** Ford is currently looking for full-time Automotive Technicians to join our busy team. As we continue to grow our business, we need additional Experienced Automotive Technicians that work well in a team environment, demonstrate a strong work-ethic and are looking to grow and develop. Responsibilities

• Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
• Inspect motor in operation, road test motor vehicles and test automotive systems and components
• Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems
• Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems
• Repair or replace mechanical units or components
• Estimate parts and labour costs
• Perform scheduled maintenance service
• Test and adjust units to specifications
• Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
• Complete reports to record problems and work performed
• Coach and instruct apprentices
• Review work orders and discuss work with supervisor
• Provide customer service

Qualifications

• Preferred Journeyman Certificate or years of experience to prove qualifications
• Enjoys working in fast-paced very busy environment
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including walking, crouching, bending, and standing for extended periods of time
• Professional communication & organizational skills
• Ability to drive both standard and automatic vehicles
• Valid driver’s license
