About the role

This is a Lead-level individual contributor role — you will be the primary creative engine, building the work yourself while shaping our creative standards and systems.

Preferably Montreal Or Toronto. Full-time Remote.

We’re looking for a hands-on creative powerhouse who can blend design, storytelling, and strategy to bring Narcity Media Group (NMG) and its sister brands to life. Directly reporting to the CEO, this role is execution-first: you’ll be in the tools every day creating content and assets while shaping scalable systems that strengthen our brand identity.

You’ll work directly with the CEO and cross-functional teams to turn ideas into impactful visuals across digital, print, events, and social. From Instagram posts to sales decks, billboards to podcast animations — you’ll do it all, with speed, creativity, and precision.

Working with founders offers rare exposure to vision and decision-making at the highest level — it’s fast, hands-on learning with big impact, but it demands agility and strong ownership.

Key Responsibilities

Content & Design Execution

  • Design marketing collateral for events, campaigns, and partnerships.
  • Create graphics and animations for podcasts, videos, and social content.
  • Develop Instagram posts, templates, and creative pillars for social strategy.
  • Build presentation decks in Google Slides that wow B2B partners.
  • Adapt creative for out-of-home (billboards, signage, print) and digital-first needs.

Brand & Systems

  • Apply and evolve brand identity across all platforms, ensuring consistency.
  • Build scalable creative templates & workflows (Figma/Canva) that streamline execution.
  • Translate abstract ideas into clear, usable creative systems.

Creative Strategy

  • Collaborate on messaging and light copywriting for campaigns, decks, and social posts.
  • Contribute ideas for content pillars, storytelling formats, and campaign directions.
  • Align creative with both consumer-facing and B2B objectives.

What We’re Looking For

Experience & Skills

  • 4-6+ years in design, creative production, or brand/content roles.
  • Mastery of Figma ; bonus if comfortable with Canva .
  • Strong skills in presentation design (Google Slides).
  • Solid copywriting and content strategy chops.
  • Bonus: experience with motion graphics, video editing, or light front-end code.
  • Portfolio that shows both strong visual execution and strategic thinking.

Position Details

  • Full-time remote, with a preference for those based in Toronto or Montreal.
  • Compensation commensurate with experience, bracket of $ 75,000 - 120,000 CAD
