Data Elephant is hiring an Agile Delivery Lead to build and lead our delivery management capability as we scale our delivery practice.

We specialize in helping organizations modernize their data platforms and unlock value from analytics, AI, and cloud technologies. As our client portfolio grows, we are looking for a delivery leader who can ensure our projects are executed with consistency, strong agile practices, and exceptional delivery quality.

This role will lead our project management and business analysis capability, overseeing our PMs, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and BAs and establishing the frameworks, processes, and coaching required to deliver complex data, strategy, analytics, and AI initiatives successfully.

In this role, you will work closely with  Engagement Leads, Architects, and Engineering teams  to ensure projects run smoothly - from requirements discovery through delivery, while maintaining strong delivery discipline across the organization.

This is a leadership role focused on delivery excellence, agile best practices, and operational rigor across our consulting engagements. As we deploy project teams to various projects from Data Strategy to Migrations to Engineering of pipelines and net new data environments, The Agile Delivery Lead ensures these teams operate effectively and consistently across engagements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

DELIVERY EXCELLENCE

• Own and evolve Data Elephant’s delivery management framework for data, analytics, and AI projects
• Establish consistent practices for Agile Project Delivery, Project Planning, Backlog Management, Sprint Ceremonies, Requirements Management, User Stories, and Project Health Monitoring
• Ensure engagements are delivered with predictability, transparency, and high quality
• Establish and maintain strong Agile/Scrum practices across the organization, ensure agile practices are adapted appropriately for data and platform delivery projects
• Conduct delivery healthchecks in partnership with Account Delivery Lead across active engagements
• Support project teams in navigating delivery complexity while maintaining transparency and trust with clients
• Define best practices for delivering projects; introduce tools and frameworks that improve delivery visibility and success, and team coordination
• Help scale Data Elephant's ability to deliver multiple complex projects simultaneously

PM/BA MANAGEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT

• Manage and mentor a team of Project Managers / Scrum Masters and Business Analysts and provide coaching on Agile practices, stakeholder management, delivery governance and consistency
• Hire and lead a team providing coaching, performance management, career progression, etc.
• Ensure team is delivering with consistency and in accordance to client expectations

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• 8+ years of experience in project delivery, program management, or PMO leadership
• Experience leading Agile delivery teams in consulting or technology environments
• Experience managing or mentoring Project Managers, Scrum Masters, or Business Analysts
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, hybrid approaches)
• Experience delivering data platform, analytics, or cloud transformation projects
• Ability to manage delivery across multiple concurrent engagements
• Excellent communication and organizational leadership skills
• Strong problem-solving ability and attention to delivery quality
• Experience working in complex, enterprise client environments
• Experience in Energy, Transportation, Construction or Real Estate an asset
• Data, analytics, AI, or cloud platform project experience a must
• Consulting or professional services environments
