Overview: With the recent formation of the IT Digital and Data Transformation organization coupled with Domtar’s prioritized strategic focus of driving business value from our data assets, the opportunities have never been greater. Your Challenges:

Project Leadership

  • Lead the full lifecycle of infrastructure projects, from initiation to closure.
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, budgets, and resource allocations.

Stakeholder & Team Coordination

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including infrastructure engineers, cybersecurity, vendors, and business units.
  • Facilitate steering committee meetings and ensure alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Manage vendor relationships and third-party service providers.

Risk & Compliance Management

  • Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security policies, regulatory requirements, and change management protocols.

Reporting & Communication

  • Provide regular updates to leadership on project status, KPIs, and escalations.
  • Maintain clear documentation and communication across technical and non-technical audiences.

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT project management, with proven track record managing large-scale infrastructure initiatives (e.g., cloud migration, data center transformation, network modernization).
  • Strong understanding of ITIL, enterprise architecture, and hybrid cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Extensive experience in a large corporate environment within the manufacturing sector.
  • Strong knowledge of waterfall project management methodology.
  • Strong knowledge of LEAN project management practice.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English is preferred.
  • PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with tools like ServiceNow, Smarsheet and O365.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and disaster recovery planning
