In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of Regional Director and reporting to the Health Service Administrator or designate, this position is responsible for the overall administrative and technical management of the Laboratory Department and its operations including policies, procedures, budgets, reports, personnel, and records. Plans, organizes, and directs the work of the Laboratory staff in all areas ensuring that suitable quality assurance is maintained.

Shift Rotation/Hours of work: 07:00 to 17:30, Rotating. Rotating type schedule, Monday to Thursday one week and Tuesday to Friday the next. Plus, On Call is mandatory. Being on call is an integral part of this position.
