Position Description:
Currently, Tetranex is seeking an Intermediate/Senior Project Planner/Scheduler (Contractor).

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate project timelines with inter-disciplines to achieve realistic and achievable deadlines.
  • Understand activity relationships and sequencing of the overall project lifecycle, including scope, constraints, and decision points, to reflect a critical path and enable meaningful float analysis.
  • Integrate the entire work scope into one schedule, assigning resources and generating resource loading reports for workload planning.
  • Perform weekly progress updates in coordination with multiple disciplines.
  • Create and perform critical path and risk analyses as required.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of scope control and change management, with the ability to incorporate directed changes into the schedule baseline.
  • Apply earned value methodology to monitor project progress and performance.
  • Identifying potential project schedule variances or delays and facilitate mitigation in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with basic cost analysis and forecasting as they relate to planning and scheduling.
  • Keep stakeholders (Project Team, Clients, and Management) informed of project timelines and deadlines.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of relevant EP project controls and scheduling experience.
  • Proficient with Primavera P6 and MS Project software.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong commitment to exceeding customers expectations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management, discipline engineers, clients, and vendors.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working collaboratively in a project team environment.
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
