You will deliver on the medium- to long-term (9-12 months) forecast of material requirements to suppliers and activities related to mid- to long-term material requirements for assigned suppliers/materials across the region. You also track the contract coverage position and raise any new requisitions to procurement and identify risks and opportunities in medium-term material supply plans and drive dialogue and escalation. How you will contribute You will: Develop short- and long-term materials planning for items produced internally and externally Meet your KPIs including (but not limited to) raw/pack inventory levels, compliance to schedule (CTS), material write off Perform root-cause analysis for continuous improvement of the plan Maintain the integrity of system data and information for supply/materials planning Partner with procurement for material optimization Support and implement improvements in the planning arena to improve customer fill rate, inventory targets, and waste reduction to meet company KPIs What you will bring A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career and the following experience and knowledge: Experience in FMCG/CPG environment, preferably food or other fast moving, dynamic industry where shelf life is a constraint Experience in an IBP/S&OP environment Able to influence cross-functional teams, working on the key priorities and improving the plan Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills – and able to understand and interpret data Team player who can work with many other functions on a daily basis More about this role Retrieves and organizes future requirements and inventory data from systems, plants and vendors to support Materials Management replenishment strategies. Ensure accuracy of data based on supply planning process. Waste: Maintains spreadsheets for inventory tie-outs and circulates destruction orders for approval. Ensure appropriate run out of materials minimizes waste and communicates with Brand & Finance leadership Expedites deliveries and addresses availability and service issues with plants, vendors, and supply organizations. Including assisting with decision making around prioritization of production/plant allocation. Provide centralized communication to senior leadership and stakeholders on all messages relating materials planning, execution, and coverage for continuous production. Participate in all commercialization activities and manage material supply and communication. Procurement Linkage to Commodity & Ingredient Spend Area and LPR Organization. Lead in cross border, cross category planning process and issue resolution. Provide post seasonal or discontinuation assessment to drive year over year improvement. Drive collaborative forecast/capacity meetings with key vendors to identify and correct areas of concern to ensure a continuous supply of materials. Develop and implement strategic plans and goals for RP Inventory & Waste Targets. Lead in annual budgeting process for RP. Education / Certifications: Minimum of bachelor's degree APICS Certification preferred Job specific requirements: Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in Supply Chain Computer Skills – Proficient in MS Office; Excel Skills; MRP and reporting tools (SAP, SAPBI) Work schedule: Standard Business Hours M-F | Flexibility to provide coverage support on weekends as required. Salary and Benefits: The expected base salary range for this position is $84,500 to $105,650 CAD depending on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible to participate in a highly competitive bonus program with a target of 8% with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
