About the role
The ideal candidate will be responsible to manage a high end restaurant construction project:
- Work closely with estimating and site supervision to ensure accuracy of budgets, schedules, and project execution
- Monitor costs and time lines for projects to ensure successful completion
- Work closely with project owners and internal leadership on a day to day basis
- Negotiate trade contracts
- Lead site meetings for projects within your management responsibility
- All other duties as required
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- At least 2 to 3 years of experience working in a construction project management capacity with local market GC's
- Direct experience overseeing full cycle restaurant project construction, consisting of fit outs, renovations, additions and ground up new builds; excellent knowledge of high end finishes and M&E is required
- GSC, relevant education in engineering or construction management are assets
- Strong leadership, management and software application abilities
- Ability to establish and adhere to construction schedules
- Strong network of relevant local market trades
Salary will be commensurate with experience
