What to Expect:
As a Key Account Manager on a 15-month contract, you will be responsible and accountable for driving sales to veterinary channels and deliver associated customer contribution to Nestle Purina PetCare Canada.
A day in the life:
- Externally, communicates with Veterinarian Professionals, Vet Clinic Managers, Large Clinic Group Customers to build relationships and growing Purina revenue with-in the Veterinarian Channel
- Leverage Category Insights, Shopper Marketing, Vet Communication Managers resources to develop and implement channel category and consumer centric strategies.
- Lead the joint business planning process with the National Large Clinic and Regional Groups
- Develop and implement trade promotion strategies and tactical plans with the customer.
- Responsible for Trade Spend and maximizing Customer Contribution by managing a budget
- Identify profitable opportunities to grow incremental volume through new item listings, SKU optimization and distribution.
Role Requirements
-
3+ years as a sales leader with a proven track record of delivering business results as an Account Manager or Key Account Manager, within the CPG industry or healthcare industry.

Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills

Experience managing trade spend is an asset
-
Post secondary education in Business Administration or any related field
-
Effective communication, negotiation and strong leadership skills are required to express analytics and deliver presentations to various levels within the organization and externally to customers.

Proven ability to manage multiple tasks with excellent time and project management while paying attention to detail.
-
Motivation as a self-starter with the ability to think “out of the box” in an effort to secure incremental business opportunities.
