About the role

Description: The Plumber/Steamfitter will plan, install and service plumbing systems, fixtures, piping equipment and controls and will layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain and repair piping systems which carry water, steam, chemicals or fuel used in heating, cooling, lubricating and other processes. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the IUOE Collective Agreement.

Required Qualifications:

Must hold qualifications in both trades, consisting of registration as an apprentice or Alberta certified journeyperson status in Plumbing and Steam Fitting, or possess valid, recognized credentials equivalent to both trade certifications.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Cross Connection Control for Testing of Back Flow Devices. Certified Medical Gas Piping and System Installer.
