###Position Summary

TheCommercial Door Service Techniciansupports the inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of overhead doors, loading dock equipment, and related mechanical systems. This role is ideal for mechanically inclined technicians who enjoy hands-on fieldwork, customer interaction, and developing a long-term career in the commercial dock and door industry.

###Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the repair, maintenance, and servicing of commercial overhead doors and loading dock equipment
• Diagnose mechanical issues and support corrective repairs in the field
• Complete work orders, inspection forms, and site documentation accurately
• Capture photos and records for service reporting and compliance
• Maintain tools, service equipment, and personal protective gear
• Follow all safety procedures and jobsite protocols
• Deliver professional, customer-focused service at commercial facilities

###Required Experience and Skills

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Strong mechanical aptitude with confidence using power tools
• Ability to work independently in the field
• Comfortable working at heights using ladders, lifts, or similar equipment
• Positive attitude with a team-oriented, service-focused mindset
• Experience with commercial overhead doors and loading dock systems is a strong asset
• Background in carpentry, welding, or hydraulic mechanics is highly valued
