Key****Responsibilities:

• Schedule, direct and maintain work flow through the ship among technicians on shift

• Maintain accurate records of repair times and communicate expectations with techs and on the floor

• Accurately review work orders, and parts requests to ensure repairs are being performed to their maximum potential

• Prepare and present accurate repair quotes to customer in a timely manner

• Highlight, support and maintain a strong emphasis on Health and Safety policies and culture to the team

• Lead and mentor QA staff and techs through technical support and other teaching methods

• Maintain close communication with the Regional Service Manager to ensure continuous and productive work flow

• Provide support to the team with respect to troubleshooting, and repair best practices

• Ensure technicians are keeping up with their production goals and expectations

• Provide production, safety and updated work order reports to the service manager daily

• Help train, support and emphasize company initiatives with respect to bettering our repair and turnaround times

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Key Qualifications:

• An experienced technician with the ability to diagnosis, perform failure analysis, and repair all types of construction equipment.
• Existing knowledge of construction equipment and building products;
• Hands on experience in the repair and service/maintenance requirements for various types of construction equipment;
• Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with company and factory standards;
• Ability to work independently, and in a team atmosphere;
• Good communication and people skills;
• Strong time management and organizational skills;
• Operate and maintain all shop equipment and ensure a safe, clean & organized shop area;

Additional Qualifications:

• Applicant must be able to perform heavy lifting, as heavy lifting will be required frequently;

• The ideal candidate will have previous experience with CAT Equipment;

• Your own tools are required.
