About the role
We are currently seeking to fill a **Full-Time Dispatch & Administrative Support (*****Driver Service Representative)***role in our Bulk Business Unit in Winnipeg.
Position Details:
Reporting to the Manager, Bulk Operations, the **Dispatch & Administrative Support (*****Driver Service Representative)***role is primarily responsible for dispatching, monitoring, and coordinating various components of Winnipeg based Bulk company drivers and owner/operators. They work closely with Logistics Planning Coordinators to dispatch, confirm and monitor status of driver performance indicator. Daily and ongoing communication and coaching of drivers and owner/operators is a key responsibility in effectively influencing the timely and accurate completion of the driver-related activities and performance indicators. This role applies knowledge of Kleysen transportation and safety policies and programs, customer policies, and transportation regulations i.e. hours of service, etc. The DSR will also act as back up to the Logistic Planning Coordinators and Operations Administrator role during periods of absence or as required.
This role will work a consistent shift of Tuesday – Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with a 1-hour lunch and Saturdays from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with a 30-minute lunch.
Ideally the successful candidate will have:
- Transportation knowledge and experience gained either in customer service, dispatch, administration or driving with the ability to dispatch and administer various aspects of driver performance.
- Strong people skills working with drivers and collaborating with team members
- Knowledge of logistics software or systems, with experience in, or an ability to learn, the Truck Mate (TMW) system an asset
- Experience working with Microsoft Office
- Excellent time management and organizational skills in handling volume of work, changing demands and various source of information
- Reliability to attend work regularly and on time
- The successful candidate will require a reliable vehicle as our office is located outside of public transport
