This is a 14-month fixed contract position.
About the role:
The Jr Data Analyst supports reporting across multiple lending portfolios including Single Family, Commercial, Consumer, ABL/Structured Finance, as well as deposit reporting. This role is key to running, validating, and distributing operational reports that are widely used across the organization. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners, ensuring data accuracy, timely delivery, and clear communication.
About the day-to-day:
- Execute daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual Excel‑based reports.
- Consolidate internal and external data files, applying templates and macros to produce final outputs.
- Review incoming data for completeness and accuracy, flag discrepancies, and escalate issues as needed.
- Identify data irregularities and proactively escalate discrepancies to the team to ensure accuracy prior to report distribution.
- Serve as the first point of contact for inquiries through the team inbox—communicating with internal stakeholders and external data partners.
- Monitor for missing, incomplete, or delayed data files and initiate timely follow‑up to maintain reporting accuracy and deadlines.
- Work with sensitive customers and account‑level information (PII) and uphold strict confidentiality standards.
About the qualifications:
- 1–2+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or a related field.
- Completion of a post‑secondary program in Data Analytics, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Intermediate experience working in Excel, with a solid foundation in formulas, data manipulation, and navigating spreadsheets.
- Exposure to mortgage lending, loan servicing, or banking products (retail lending, deposits, etc.) considered an asset.
- Prior experience working with large datasets, operational reporting, or data validation.
- Strong time‑management and organizational skills.
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail and maintains a consistently high standard of quality in all work.
- Ability to work both independently and within a highly collaborative team.
- Comfort working with confidential or sensitive information while upholding data privacy expectations.

The expected salary for this role is approximately $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 annually. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
