The project involves collaborating remotely to enhance original compositions, with a particular focus on filling production gaps such as drum parts and refining the overall sound. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the musician to develop and finalize indie-rock and indie alternative tracks
- Provide creative input on arrangement, instrumentation, and production elements
- Program or arrange drum parts to complement existing guitar, piano, and bass recordings
- Mix tracks to achieve a polished, professional sound suitable for release
- Communicate effectively to understand the artist’s vision and incorporate feedback
- Deliver high-quality audio files in agreed formats and within project timelines
Skills And Requirements
- Proven experience in music production and mixing, especially within indie-rock or alternative genres
- Proficiency with industry-standard DAWs (e.g., Logic Pro, Ableton Live, Pro Tools)
- Strong skills in drum programming, arrangement, and sound design
- Ability to work remotely and manage file transfers efficiently
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Creative approach to enhancing and supporting an artist’s original vision
- Availability for a single project with potential for future work
