Are you passionate about facilitating a collaborative client service experience and delivering that WOW factor daily? Do you have strong problem solving and time management skills? If so, this position may be perfect for you.
We are currently seeking a Customer Service Representative (CSR) in our Group Retirement department. We provide the training (teach you the ropes). In this role the CSR will be responsible for developing strong working relationships with the LIG team, as well as your assigned clients. You will work with Clients, Consultants and Insurance carrier contacts to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our client service standards.
What will you do?
- Partner with the consultant/s to retain assigned book of business by providing superior service and promptly responding to inquiries, assisting complex issues and providing direction and administration of client’s retirement plans
- Reviewing, processing and preparing client reports for new business, renewals, updates and marketing in accordance with applicable reporting schedules and reporting templates
- Developing client communications including, presentations, memos and email announcements, etc. as needed
- Accurate maintenance of client records in agency management system EPIC and on the client network drive
- Review contracts, policies, and plan information for accuracy
- Facilitate carrier training and support for clients
- Peer review of documents as needed
- Assist with special projects in the office as requested
- Learn and continuously grow your knowledge of insurance products
Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications:
- Superior communications skills both verbal and written
- Excellent organization skills
- Ability to effectively prioritize and manage numerous tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work well under pressure, against deadlines and independently
- Proficiency in MS Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Client Relationship Management (CRM) experience (preferably with EPIC)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Team Player and the ability to work independently
- Bilingual (English and French) considered an asset
