Role Details
As a leadership volunteer, you will be part of our committees of volunteers who will work over the months to help us organize our fundraising events. Depending on the needs in your community, available roles could include committee lead, logistics, community outreach, volunteer lead, and social media.
Description
Front Desk volunteer at the Canadian Cancer Society Vancouver provide admin support to both office and Lodges. The Lodges are located near cancer treatment centers.
Why we need you
Canadian Cancer Society Offices and Lodges provide a supportive environment for people with cancer and their families. As a volunteer at the office you have an essential role in creating a home away from home for the clients and their families.
What we're looking for

Answering calls, greeting and redirecting guests

Sorting, scanning and uploading daily mails
-
Maintaining a presentable front desk area

Assisting with event set-up in the atrium
-
Assisting with other administrative tasks

Ongoing updates and Support from Staff Partner in Volunteer Engagement
Your commitment

The shift will be during office hours, a 1pm to 5pm shift
-
Currently looking for volunteer for Thursdays afternoon and one on-call for one shift per week

Minimum commitment 6 months
