The work location is at Nunavik and the normal work schedule is on a rotation of 6 weeks: 3 weeks worked (77 hours per week, 7 days a week) followed by 3 weeks for rest.

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Mine Supervisor, the Underground Miner will have the following main functions:
- Primarily operate CAT AD30 and AD45 haul trucks to transport ore and waste rock.
- Operate the CAT 420F backhoe for production activities.
- Operate the CAT 120H grader to maintain underground ramps.
- Operate various service equipment: fuel truck (MacLean), boom truck (MacLean), Toyota Land Cruiser.
- Perform any other tasks requested by the supervisor as needed.
Qualifications
- Have a diploma in ore extraction (DEP) or a secondary V diploma (DES) with equivalent experience.
- Possess 2000 hours of experience operating a CAT AD30 or AD45 truck.
- Possess 1000 hours of experience operating a fuel truck.
- Possess 1000 hours of experience operating a service truck.
- Hold a general explosives permit.
- Hold a valid driver's license.
- Possess mining modules FMTM 1 to 5 & 7.
- Have experience using the CAT 420F backhoe or the CAT 120H grader (asset).
- Due to frequent interactions with French-speaking team members, bilingualism (French/English) is an asset to facilitate and improve internal communications.
Skills

- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining relationships with others.
