Upper James Toyota is seeking a Part-Time Night Receptionist

We are seeking a Part-time Night Receptionist who has flexible hours, but is committed to the role. After training, you will work approximately 20 hours per week, shifts are 4-8, Monday - Thursday, with shifts on Saturday or occasional daytime shifts through the week, when required.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Greet clients in a friendly and courteous manner, and direct them appropriately
• Stock incoming and outgoing vehicles
• Operate a multi line phone system
• Answer and forward telephone calls
• Record and relay information
• Send invoices, and perform other clerical duties such as filing and sorting
• Update client information in a variety of systems

Qualifications:

• Outgoing personality, excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Read, write and speak fluent English
• Ability to answer and transfer high volume phone calls
• Working knowledge of Windows, Excel
• Working knowledge of PBS is a definite plus
• Familiarity with general office equipment and email
• Excellent problem-solving skills and commitment to continuous learning
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Critical thinking, and ability to share ideas on ways to improve our customers’ experience
• Availability to cover the day reception shift and vacation when needed is an asset
• Proper business attire
• Automotive experience is an asset
