Your Challenge In Practice Be responsible for marketing food products and taking orders.
Your main responsibilities are to work closely with sales representatives to execute in-store promotions.
Reporting to the Sales Supervisor, you will have the following responsibilities, but are not limited to:
- Apply merchandising and promotional plans
- Optimize cross-merchandising and seize opportunities
- Perform layouts based on optimal product positioning or according to the planogram
- Build effective displays and strategically position displays
- Apply merchandising programs using marketing and sales tools
- Install promotional materials in sales locations (posters, displays, etc.)
- Check warehouse inventories to ensure product availability
- Perform any other tasks related
Qualifications
- College diploma (marketing, sales, merchandising)
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar position in the food industry
- Experience in commodity product management and merchandising strategies
- Knowledge of packaging/ingredient suppliers in the food industry, an asset
- Proficiency with Office Suite tools
- Bilingualism, both oral and written
- Possess a Class 5 driver's license and a vehicle
- Travel within Greater Montreal and the South Shore (North Shore, if necessary)

- Possess good interpersonal skills and be customer-oriented
- Understand and apply marketing techniques
- Ability to adapt to changes in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously

- Negotiation skills and creativity
