The Continuing Education Department of Champlain College Saint-Lambert requires the services of an HOURLY INSTRUCTOR to teach the course MORTGAGE FINANCING (221-207-MA)
Mortgage financing remains an essential part of most real estate transactions, and students will be called upon to analyze their client’s borrowing capacity. The aim of this course is to demystify this task. After reviewing the relevant mathematical principles, students will be able to define their client’s project and determine their general financial position. Students will be able to draw up a comprehensive list of the costs inherent in buying or selling a property. They will also be able to explain the basic principles governing mortgage financing, calculate their client’s borrowing capacity, and present the results of their work in language that is easy to understand.
Required Qualifications :
Must be a mortgage broker with an active membership in the Autorité des Marchés Financiers and at least five years of experience. A bachelor’s degree in a related field is an asset. Candidates with a bachelor’s degree, training, and at least five years experience in a related financial field may also be considered. Such candidates will be required to demonstrate their knowledge of the field of mortgage financing. This course is taught in English; excellent communication skills in English are required. Teaching experience within a similar program is an asset.

and 80% course hours will be delivered online/at distance.
