About the role

Reporting to the VP of Logistics NA, this role will be responsible for leading logistics financial reporting and delivering insights across Lassonde’s business in Canada and the US. Additionally, the successful candidate will support leadership by analyzing daily operations, providing reports, and implementing various improvement projects to optimize costs and enhance service to our clients.

Key activities

Provide financial reporting and insights to support period-end and budgetary activities.

Create analyses and reports for KPIs and operational performance to enhance decision-making.

Identify improvement opportunities and support change implementation.

Apply best practices to standardize current processes, design new ones and ensure their implementation.

Coordinate projects, publish progress reports, maintain action plans and develop SOPs.

Develop internal relationships with stakeholders and act as liaison between logistics and FP&A team.

Strengthen relationship with the 3PL vendor (E2Open), and partner with their analysts to ensure needs are met.

Support daily operations by reviewing TMS activities and reports, identifying errors and gaps to correct.

Required training and experience

BAC in Finance/Accounting, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.

2 to 3 years of experience in a highly valued manufacturing environment, particularly in a performance analysis or cost optimization context.

1 to 2 years of experience in a financial or analytical position.

Proficiency in MS Office suite software.

Skills sought

Bilingual (French/English), both written and spoken – essential for communication with English-speaking colleagues, clients, and suppliers across provinces and internationally.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and influence stakeholders.

Solid financial acumen, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment requiring agility and adaptability.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and conflicting priorities independently.

Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to gather, organize, and analyze information to make data-drive decisions.

Demonstrated leadership and decision-making skills, with openness to feedback and professional growth.

Knowledge of the logistics sector is an asset but can be developed internally.

Specific conditions regarding the position:
Occasional travel to U.S. headquarters and Canadian manufacturing sites.

CPA designation or other recognized financial certification: a strong asset.

Hybrid role requiring presence at the Rougemont, QC office 2-3 days per week.
