Position Summary

SolidCAD is a professional services software company currently transitioning from SAP to NetSuite. As part of the Symetri Group, we are aligning with the Symetri US ERP environment while adapting it to meet the specific requirements of our Canadian subsidiary.

This engagement is focused on localization, configuration, and optimization rather than a full greenfield implementation.

We are seeking a highly capable and independent NetSuite consultant with a strong passion for automation and process optimization. The ideal candidate enjoys simplifying workflows, reducing manual effort, and driving overall system efficiency.

In this role, you will...

Engagement Model

• April (Pre–Go-Live): Hourly engagement; up to full-time availability required through go-live (May 1)
• Post Go-Live: Ongoing hourly, on-demand support
• Phase II Scope:
• Order fulfillment process optimization
• NetSuite integration with PSA (Precursive)
• OCR and automation enhancements

Phase 1 – Pre Go-Live (Now – May 1)
Note: Elements of the system configuration are already in place and will require validation, adjustment, and localization rather than full configuration from scratch.

• Connect NetSuite sandbox to production to enable migration of configurations

• Configure Canadian tax compliance (GST, PST, HST)

• Balances migration

• Configure documentation within NetSuite

• Set up drop shipment workflows

• Configure basic inventory management processes

• Collaborate with Symetri US on ERP alignment

• Support go-live readiness and post go-live stabilization

Phase 2 – Post Go-Live

• Optimize order fulfillment automation and workflows
• Implement OCR solutions for vendor invoice processing and potential EDI connection
• Support payment solution implementation (e.g., Paystand or equivalent)
• Integrate Precursive (PSA not implemented yet) with NetSuite
• Drive ongoing system optimization and automation improvements

About you...

Key Requirements

• Proven experience with NetSuite implementation and optimization
• Demonstrated ability to migrate configurations and data from sandbox to production
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Canadian tax configuration (GST, PST, HST)
• Experience with drop shipment workflows and inventory management
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and international teams (including Symetri US)
• Experience with Precursive (PSA) integration with NetSuite is an asset
