Reporting to the VP of Air Conditioning & Energy Solutions, The National Account Manager, RAC (Residential Air Conditioning) is responsible for LG’s product portfolio for Residential Air Conditioning Solutions. They will collaborate with channel partners, RAC sales staff, and related business activities of assigned products in accounts with national reach. The National Account Manager may also be responsible for larger and more complex sales and related business activities of assigned products in and around their own territory.

The primary objective of this position is to achieve business goals (revenue, market share, profit, etc.) by actively participating in developing an effective business plan by executing the sales side of the plan and by engaging channels and appropriate stakeholders.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales Leadership

  • Work with Division Leadership and Account Team to develop effective account business plans and achieve account business goals
  • Produce business proposals, negotiate, and obtain orders from accounts in line with account business plans
  • Maintain accurate volume forecasting to ensure adequate order fulfillment and minimize/eliminate bad inventory
  • Serve as primary contact point for purchasing and marketing functions of account headquarters
  • Oversee all aspects of company’s interaction with accounts and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Develop strategies and tactics to grow national account business
  • Execute sales strategy and monitor customer performance
  • Educate customers on LG Brand and products
  • Communicate internally and provide appropriate feedback from customers
  • Maintain brand and product knowledge
  • Manage schedule and administrative tasks:
  • Work with inside sales coordinator to process account claims promptly and accurately
  • Review credits and charge backs for the account/customer
  • Review Return Authorizations to ensure they are legitimately LG’s responsibility
  • Complete sales reports
  • Have clear understanding of channel inventory position and forecast, ensure coverage, and maximize growth
  • Additional duties, as assigned

KNOWLDEGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • BA/BS degree required; MBA preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years’ related industry experience in a sales capacity
  • PSI (Purchase, Sales, Inventory) management
  • Excellent relationship skills with both customers and internal colleagues
  • Strong MS Excel & MS PowerPoint skills
  • Demonstrate solid business acumen and thought leadership within sales, marketing, operations, finance, account P&L
