Principal Accountabilities
Ensuring food safety and quality Maintaining a safe work environment Supporting roles in the case ready meat process Assisting Machine Operator and set up/teardown Picking, sorting, labeling, bagging, boxing, packing, pushing, pulling, and lifting product weighing 20lbs – 60lbs with or without a reasonable accommodation Performing repetitive labour in a fast-paced environment Working with raw meat particularly but not limited to Beef and Pork Ability to work in temperature-controlled environment (Cold 0-4 Celsius) Cleanliness and housekeeping Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Required Qualifications
Must be 18 years or older Must be currently legal to work in Canada Must be comfortable with picking, sorting, labeling, boxing, and packing raw meat products Must be able to push, pull and lift product weighing 20lbs – 60lbs with or without reasonable accommodation Must be able to work in cold (0-4 Celsius) environment
Preferred Qualifications
Food processing production experience
