What is the opportunity?
Dr.Bill is a trusted medical billing partner that provides fast, accurate, and reliable billing services for physicians and administrators across various provinces. Since 2009, billing experts in combination with our software have maximized revenue for physicians while saving them time. At Dr.Bill, we are committed to maintaining the highest levels of integrity and professionalism while providing a flexible work environment. In this dynamic role, the successful candidate will work with our Manitoba and Saskatchewan Billing Operations Team to provide exceptional service to our customers and grow the Dr.Bill brand of excellence. This role will be based can be based in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, British Columbia, Alberta or Ontario.
What Will You Do?
- Maintain accurate customer account records
- Process medical claims
- Reconcile monthly remittance advice
- Generate billing reports
- Resolve issues efficiently and effectively
- Respond to billing questions
- Provide claim recommendations when applicable
- Respond to physician and internal communications in a timely manner
- Assist in scaling operations
What do you need to succeed? Must have;
- 5+ years of health care administration and customer service experience
- 2+ years experience with Manitoba (MHSIP) AND Saskatchewan (MSB) Provincial Billing
- 2+ years experience working with Accuro or Telus EMRs
- 1+ years of team management experience
- Strong cross functional capabilities to identify interdependencies between teams
- Proactive identification of problems and solution implementation
- Strong communication skills with clients and internal stakeholders
- Ability to create quality internal documentation
- Comfortable working with some ambiguity with an adaptable mindset
- Experience planning, scheduling and resource allocation
- Deadline-driven and results-oriented; coaching team to deliver high quality
- standards while handling a variety of tasks and deadlines simultaneously
Nice to Have
- Previous experience working with an EMR or EHR company directly
- Graduate degree in health care administration or equivalent experience
- Proficient in SharePoint, Metabase, Confluence, Outlook, Excel
