Who you are
- Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry
- Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 3 years experience; or equivalent experience
- Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-native solutions leveraging Kafka, Flink, and Kubernetes
- Ability to drive the adoption of coding standards, best practices, and automation across the engineering team
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and customer-facing teams to design scalable, reliable, and secure solutions
- Implement CI/CD pipelines, observability tools, and infrastructure automation to streamline delivery
- Ensure systems are designed for high availability, scalability, and resilience
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and technical discussions to improve overall system architecture
- Troubleshoot complex issues in distributed systems and provide sustainable solutions
What the job involves
- Build high-quality, clean, scalable and reusable code by enforcing best practices around software engineering architecture and processes (Code Reviews, Unit testing, etc.)
- Work with the product owners to understand detailed requirements and own your code from design, implementation, test automation and delivery of high-quality product to our users
- Design software that is simple to use to allow customers to extend and customize the functionality to meet their specific needs
- Contribute to the design and implementation of new products and features while also enhancing the existing product suite
- Be a mentor for colleagues and help promote knowledge-sharing
