About Bornhava- Specialized Early Childhood of WNY, Inc.

Education
51-200 employees

Bornhava-SPECIALIZED EARLY CHILDHOOD CENTER OF WNY, was founded in 1983 to provide a home-like, loving and play-based environment to educate and nurture young children with differing abilities and to strengthen their families. Bornhava is a 501(c) (3) New York State Department of Education and Early Intervention approved provider and evaluator for children Birth-5 years of age who exhibit significant development differences. Bornhava provides 4 full-day preschool classrooms and a half-day Early Intervention developmental group. Our five integrated classrooms in the community offer our children the opportunity to learn alongside their typical peers. Our staff includes special education teachers, teacher assistants, speech-language pathologists, physical and occupational therapists, psychological consultants, a social worker and a nurse. Our team allows us to offer a well-rounded program, as well as the ability to serve a wide range of children with special needs including those with Down syndrome, Autism, Cerebral Palsy, and other genetic or developmental disorders. Our vision is to continue to be recognized as a high-quality, innovative birth to five program that uses best practices and a multi-sensory approach to support our children in leading successful lives.
